“No, you just go keep my Seamus company, hmm?” Murphey smiled, patting her stomach once more before being rammed into by one of Leon and Alby’s girls. He hefted her up like she was nothing and hauled her off to presumably find food as per her sisters’ request.
“Do you think our sweet baby is going to be that rough and tough?” Seamus asked as he wheeled closer to Cardinal’s side.

“Great, were going to have a regular circus.” Seamus chuckled, dipping his head to rest against her shoulder. His arms looked around her waist and his hand idly pat at the side of her stomach. “Do you think we’re going to get all the stuff we need from this shindig or are we going to have to make another trip to Babies R Us?”

| Cardinal gave a lazy shrug. “Maybe? I feel like my absentee parents will write a fat check to supplement for physical presence. So if we don’t get everything, it won’t hurt our pocket.” She said. |

“Good. I’m on a budget.” Seamus teased, kissing her shoulder affectionately. He jumped a bit when he felt a hand come down on his shoulder.
“Budget? What are you talking about? Mom and Dad said you got a fat settlement check from that schmuck from the accident.” Alby said as she craned her head around to look at Seamus, her youngest baby hugged to her hip.

Murphey got all his granddaughters food before Biddy called everyone to gather around for presents. Most of the gifts were fairly standard, diapers, wipes, onesies, blankets, so on and so forth. Biddy and Murphey had gone in and bought a nice stroller to accompany the car seat previously purchased as well as a nice little crib. Once most of gifts were exchanged, Seamus gestured to a flat box on the table.
“Leon, grab that one for her?” He asked.
