“Maybe Alby has something.” Seamus tried as he watched Cardinal’s struggle from his perch in his wheelchair. “I’m sure she has some maternity shirts from one of the thirty seven times she’s had a baby.” While Seamus and Cardinal were only recently starting their family, Leon and Alby had long since started theirs. It seemed like once they had Seamus’s niece, Paisley, there was no stop.
It’d been a long few months between moving and doctors appointments upon doctors appointments, but Seamus and Cardinal were finally getting settled back in their hometown... sorta. Seamus hadn’t wanted to move back in with his parents, but finding a suitable rental was hard and arguing with his doting parents was harder. Admittedly, it was nice to have the extra hands, especially since Cardinal couldn’t really help Seamus much anymore with her growing tummy, but Seamus was still keen on getting their own place at least sorted and lined up before Cardinal gave birth.

“I’ve got so much of it though.” Seamus joked with a grin. He and Cardinal had both gotten sizeable amounts of money from their lawsuit pertaining to the accident, so it could safely be assumed Seamus did in fact have the goods. However, what Cardinal couldn’t assume was that he’d already spent a good chunk of his money on something for the both of them. “Seriously though, want me to call Alby and see if she’ll pick you up a dress or something?” He asked as his hand found her stomach, giving it a soft pat.

Cardinal granted him a quick peck before waddling into the closet to sip on pretty much whatever of Seamus’s. A pair of his sweats, and a miscellaneous shirt of his before pulling her hair back.
“Ready.” She chirped before getting behind his wheelchair to push him out. |
